philosophy

"Our purpose is to help organisations become more effective in the pursuit of their objectives, by releasing the potential of the individuals within them."

Because development implies both the intellectual acceptance of new ideas and very often a change in behaviour or approach, the learning style is experience based, allowing individuals to draw conclusions from their own actions and achievements.

The experiential learning process crosses all cultural boundaries and has proven to be an effective vehicle for cross-cultural development. The divergent interests and priorities which exist in any team are often made more stark by national or cultural differences. Using practical projects (some indoor, some outdoor) as metaphors for the world of work, different styles of working become evident and, through discussion, understood and valued.

Our approach to experiential learning in the Middle East is to strike a practical balance between indoor and outdoor experiences. We do not operate in the outdoor pursuits field of 'desert survival', nor are we strictly classroom based, but rather we use a mixture of indoor sessions combined with short outdoor exercises using hotel lawns and beach facilities.
