What to bring

bootsThe dress code at East Down is casual - jeans and tee-shirts are the norm. In addition, you are strongly advised to provide two changes of warm outdoor clothes, and you should be prepared for these to get a bit muddy - in case we are unfortunate with the weather!

At the time of joining a programme you will also be given details of any specialist pieces of kit you should bring with you. This list is likely to include:

  • A couple of warm sweaters
  • Walking boots or stout outdoor shoes with good grip
  • Wellington boots (these can be provided on request)
  • Waterproof/windproof coat (these can be provided on request)
  • Woolen hat and gloves

Before you join a programme at East Down Centre, you will be asked to complete a short on-line form giving details of any dietary preferences or health issues that we should be aware of.
