Our consultancy and facilitation service is primarily aimed at Top Teams and Senior Managers. This work is often undertaken in support of a major programme of organisational or cultural change and may involve TIA working alongside CEOs and their Boards, helping them to define Vision and Values and a strategy for embedding these in the wider organisation.
Working with any kind of change means engaging with the whole organisation. Where the change is structural as well as cultural, perhaps as a result of M&A activity or internal integration, TIA is able to help with the design and delivery of integration 'roadshows', developed in either a workshop or conference format, working with specialist events managers where size or scope demands.
A change in organisational focus or direction is often the catalyst for reviewing the 'golden threads' which link corporate vision with individual contribution.
TIA is able to help organisations to develop these 'golden threads', often using focus groups and benchmarking with other organisations to derive aspired behaviours and, where appropriate, developing behavioural competency frameworks supported by a process of 360 appraisal.
Whilst the focus is all too often drawn down to the systems supporting performance measurement (particularly when performance is linked to pay), our preference is to work towards embedding a culture of performance management, often through the use of Performance Conversations (making the topic of performance part of everyone's 'day job'); Staff Dialogues (which focus exclusively on matters of 'pastoral care' and personal development) and Performance Review (which incorporates objective setting, monitoring and review but may also include measurement and reward).
Whatever the approach, our focus is always to ensure that the organisational messages are integrated into management behaviour and systems.
